Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 seasons, as tight-ends within the National Football League. He is one of the NFL's most successful tight ends and the third most effective overall receivers, he has been named the NFL's leading tight end in terms of yards received, receptions made, etc.

On March 15th, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign to the Falcons for a two-year 14 million-dollar contract, despite his claim that the Falcons would let him go following the 2013 season. Following the retirement of Randy Moss, 37-year-old Gonzalez was the NFL's active leader in receiving yards.
